About The Artist
Elle Smith is a London born artist who studied and graduated from the London Art Institute.
She has been producing and distributing art worldwide for over a decade, to both national and international clients to over 40 countries and has sold over 10k pieces of work to date. Elle prides all her work on being original, unique and evocative. She is best known for her large-size original animal watercolour pieces in vibrant and striking colours which are available exclusively to purchase at auction on eBay and Etsy.
Since the Covid 19 pandemic, Elle has run regular free of charge paint a long sessions, voluntarily, uniting family and friends and artists whatever their ability, all over the world over on her Facebook page, www.facebook.com/ellesmithart.
The community it has created has been overwhelming and something Elle is incredibly proud of and shares in daily. All her followers, now some 7.5k, comment, enjoy, share and get to see all the new daily pieces created, and it has become a wonderful way to connect together with her audience. She also has an active Instagram page, and interraction is very much two way.
Whilst painting and her work is her love work and passion, Elle also shares regular home life and daily antics of her busy world around 4 young children which has also become a firm favourite part of her pages for her followers and audience.
In June 2018 Elle was been recognised and nominated for a pretigious National Business Award with Mpower, a renouned community who support Mums throughout the UK who juggle their own succesful businesses as well as family and home life. This is a huge honour for Elle to have made the top 12 finalists in her category, Self Belief.
Her corporate clients include Bovis Homes, Kier Highways, Channel 5, RSPCA, PDSA, Bloomsbury Publishing, RAF Museum, Citizens Advice Bureau, BBC, P&O Cruises, Top Gear Magazine, Sodexo and more recently the John Copeland Hospital and The Pumpkin Patch Nursery as well as to a Royal Residence.
In 2012 Elle exhibited at Cressing Temple in 2012, following in 2015 at The Dutch Nursey Coggeshall Essex.
In December 2019 Elle had a month long exhibition at the Essex Wildlife Trust Bedfords Park visitors centre and has been invited backa s the initial contributing artist at the 2022 reopening of the samw centre following a multi million pound renovation.
Elle was also a contributor to the DSWildlife online Wildlife Artist of the Year for 2021.
Elle is solely responsible for all production and shipping of each piece of work. After finishing a long standing career to focus full time on her art around the juggle of her family life, she strives for the best quality in both materials and finish. All her pieces are created with passion and aim to make a visual celebration to the eye and mind.
Prior to shipment, she personally ensures that all her paintings are signed, authenticated with certificates, and finally properly packed in thick double wall corregated card insert inside a heavyweight envelope.
